Soundsuits for Uncertain Times: Processing Challenging Feelings Through Art
Course Description: In this workshop, participants will reflect on how art can provide an avenue for processing difficult feelings by examining the work of Nick Cave and designing a personal soundsuit. Participants will see a sample unit and have time for planning, reflection and dialogue.
Facilitator: Taylor Boren
Bio: Taylor Boren is an artist and teacher living and working in Baltimore County, Maryland. She attended Maryland Institute College of Art where she received her Baccalaureate of Fine Art and her Master of Arts in Teaching. Taylor is a collector of books, postcards, yarns and plants.
