Course Description: Embark on a journey to unlock your personal art-making process in drawing, photography, and mixed-media collage over thirty-one nights. Then, explore visual journaling as a twenty-four-hour process — and for one week this summer — as a special 7 day series of powerful prompts!
Facilitator: Michael Bell
Bio: Michael Bell is a renowned American artist, TED speaker, author, visual journaling pioneer, and Supervisor of Visual and Performing Arts for Queen Anne’s County Public Schools. Bell is a former national award-winning teacher of the year, with honors including the Washington Post's Agnes Meyer Outstanding Teacher Award, the CollegeBoard's William U. Harris Award, the NAEA’s National Art Honor Society Sponsor of the Year Award, and the Los Angeles Good Shepherd Community Service Award.
