M:BRACE Restore
Course Description: Re-energize and refresh through a workshop of facilitator-led restorative movement and postures connecting body, mind, and heart.
Facilitator: Dana Parsons
Bio: Dana is a highly experienced performer, director, and master teacher. She is currently the Director of Grants and Professional Development at the Maryland State Arts Council as well as a Master Teaching Artist on the Maryland Centers for Creative Classrooms Roster with the Maryland State Department of Education. Her career in the arts began as a member of the Resident Acting Company for Clear Space Theatre in 2004. For the past 13 years, she has taught, facilitated and/or established performing arts classes, programs, and professional development opportunities with students and adults of all ages and levels, specializing in the creative process. She has performed and/or directed over 100 performance pieces (theatre, vocal, movement) on the east coast as well as abroad, including Puerto Rico, Italy, and England.

Perception - REFLECTION: Develop habits to view and address personal aptitudes, gaps, and views.
Facilitator Role - PACING: Design instructional time with a balance of structure and freedom, fast and slow, and inhale and exhale.
