11/11: Coffee with Ken, Alysia joined Quanice Floyd, Executive Director of AEMS and Precious Blake, MSAC Arts in Education Program Director as featured guests. The one-hour session holds space for dialogue about the arts in Maryland with MSAC Executive Director Ken Skrzesz.

11/20: Maryland ArtsLAB: ArtsLAB was virtual this year! The annual professional development symposium, presented by Maryland Citizens of the Arts was well-attended. ArtsLAB is a place where artists, arts professionals, advocates and more, come together to discuss current issues and concerns facing the arts sector. 

11/21: AEMS Arts Education Symposium on Anti-Racism & Abolitionist Teaching: AEMS produced a phenomenal event for the arts education community! The Symposium was an exciting, insightful, and compelling day to deepen our understanding of anti-racism and abolitionist teaching in arts education. In addition to a keynote by award-winning author Dr. Bettina Love, the symposium included discipline specific breakouts led by master arts educators.
